Irving residents recognized as “Who’s Who” from Parker University

Two Irving residents were recently selected among a group of nine Parker University students with the Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Adam Rogers and Miles Fortner – both of Irving – received the scholastic achievement.

Rogers is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Health & Wellness from Parker University. He is a tri-10 student. Fortner earned his Bachelor of Health & Wellness at Parker University and is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Chiropractic and Animal Chiropractic Certification from the university. He is tri-8.

Achieving top scholar rankings is no small feat among a university of extremely intelligent and talented students. A committee of faculty and students selected the nominees based on GPA, participation and leadership in academic and extracurricular activities, and school or community service. In addition to Rogers and Fortner, among those students honored were Jaymond Clark, Genevieve Homza, Michael Longyear, Brandon Hardin, Evan Pulver, Dr. Miranda Oliver and Logan Sherman.

National recognition by the Who’s Who program is a tremendous scholastic achievement. The students awarded are examples of what American youth can do through their contributions to community and school. The Who’s Who Among Students Program recognizes students who demonstrate consistent excellence.
