Come out and do some good for your community while spending time with your neighbors and UT Austin alums. Participants will be beautifying the canals along Hertz Rd in Coppell from 9 – 11 a.m. Groups will be meeting at Town Center Elementary – just look for the crowed wearing burnt orange.

Join 1310 am and 104.1 fm for their annual sport talk radio event from 10 am to 6 pm at the Irving Convention Center. Get autographs from some of your favorite players and get caught up on what’s happening in Dallas sports.

Meals on Wheels Volunteer Training
Do some good in the community and satisfy your lifelong fantasy of becoming a pizza delivery boy by attending Meals on Wheels volunteer training at the Visiting Nurse Association’s headquarters on 1440 W. AAA Dare to Prepare
Join Parks and Rec for a class that will walk teens and their parents through the requirements for obtaining driver’s license. The course will cover topics ranging from defensive driving habits and state law to the ins and outs of the application process, saving everyone involved the frustrating trips to and from the DPS and the frantic search for necessary documentation.
