Less than two weeks after the Irving City Council voted to partner with ARK Group and restart plans to build an entertainment center, the pending lawsuit filed by the former developer, the Las Colinas Group (LCG) has been dismissed.
The dismissal was part of the City’s agreement with ARK Group. Under that agreement, ARK Group would have to pay $3 million to former developer LCG to drop the lawsuit against the city.
On Aug. 5, Dallas County District JudgeCarl Ginsberg signed an order to dismiss the August 2012 lawsuit, saying that all “matters in dispute in the case had been settled,” according to court documents filed in the 193rd Judicial District Court.
