Students help measure monarch migration

Berean Christian Academy students recently participated in a monarch tag and release activity. The third through sixth graders and their principal, Pastor Leon Adkins, received tagging instructions from teacher, Mrs. Ruth Gitchel.

The students will be able to log on next spring to see if their numbered tags were found on butterflies wintering in Mexico.

Anyone can visit www.monarchwatch.org to get information on the condition and location of monarchs presently migrating through the Dallas area.
