Karen Jean Goodgame Clark
Karen Jean Goodgame Clark died of heart failure on December 19, 2011. Karen was born in Washington, D.C. in 1959 and moved with her family to Irving, Texas when she was very young and was a long-time resident of Irving, Texas. Karen graduated from MacArthur High School in Irving, Texas and then attended Texas A&M University where she graduated with two bachelor degrees. Karen married Kenneth Clark in Irving, Texas in 2004 and moved to Fort Morgan, Colorado shortly afterwards. Karen is preceded in death by both of her parents; Billy B. Goodgame and Margaret Joan Campbell Goodgame and is survived by: her husband of 7 years, Kenneth Clark of Fort Morgan, Colorado; her brother David and his wife Mina of Irving, Texas; her brother Jeffrey Goodgame and his wife Jan of Irving, Texas; her niece Stefanie Goodgame of Irving, Texas; her nephews Alan Goodgame and Stephen Goodgame, both of Irving, Texas; her nephew Christopher Goodgame of Houston, Texas and many other extended family and friends that will all greatly miss her. A memorial service for Karen will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 10:00am in Irving North Christian Church at 2901 N. MacArthur Blvd in Irving, Texas with graveside services to follow that afternoon at 2:00 pm at Goodgame Cemetery in Athens, Texas where her ashes are to be buried.
Anna Marie Johnson
Anna Marie Johnson, 93, and a resident of Irving, TX for 61 years, died at her home on June 22. Services were Tuesday, June 26, at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Donnelly’s Memorial Funeral Home made the arrangements. She was born Jan. 22, 1919 in Philadelphia, PA to Herman F. Baumert and Anna Marie Exner of Austria. Her husband of 64 years, Peter Johnson, predeceased her in 2004.
A part of history now, Pete, who worked at Kodak, supervised the processing of Zapruder’s film of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination. Ann had helped cater the breakfast in Ft. Worth, and was on the way to Austin for the dinner when the news broke.
Anna leaves behind daughters: Jean Brown (Charles) and Suzy Harrison (Richard Snow); Debbie Campbell (Doug) of Marble Falls, and Gary Brown (Sherry), of Ft. Worth, step-children. She also leaves nephew David Johnston of Chicago, and niece Joan Johnston of Green Bay, WI. Grandchildren Ricky Sebastian lived with and cared for she and Pete, and on most Sundays Laurie Sebastian Hodge (Philip) came from Little Elm, TX to do her nails. She has 3 other grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren & 5 great-great grandchildren.

Lillie Maybelle Nelson, age 86, of Bedford, TX passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2012. Funeral arrangements were handled by Chism-Smith Funeral Home.
Rene Patricia Sanchez
Rene Patricia Sanchez, age 58, of Dallas, TX passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2012. She was born November 12, 1953 in Dallas, TX to Joseph and Hortensia Colunga. Her parents precede her in death. Rene was a loving sister, mother, and friend. She is preceded in death by her son, Robert Gabriel Sanchez; and brother, Johnny Colunga. Rene is survived by her 3 sisters, Gwenevere Cruz, Tina Esquivel, and Yolanda Garcia; among numerous other family and friends. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. in the Chism-Smith Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, July 7, 2012.
Janice Eddy Pace Tucker
Janice Eddy Pace Tucker, our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away and went home on July 1, 2012. Our hearts are filled by all our wonderful memories and fun times we had with her. She was born to Fannie Elizabeth Welborn Pace and George L. Pace, Sr. in Athens, Texas on August 22, 1919. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Presley N. Tucker, and precious son Anthony “Tony” P. Tucker. Janice is survived by her two sisters, Martha Elizabeth Patten, and Joanna P. Partain; children, Martha Jo Arwine and husband Eddie, and Karen Sue Frettoloso-Kidwill and husband William; 9 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren, who loved and treasured their “Bobo” very much. They will always remember “Bobo” for the loving times she spent with each of them playing Dominoes, Uno, Bingo, and taking them to “The Big Toy” playground; loving times and memories that will last forever. The Celebration of Life Service was held at 2 PM Friday, July 6, 2012 at Brown’s Memorial Chapel. Burial followed at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Arrangements made by Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home.
